    Johnny Bravo Cartoon Characters

There is only one thing that is larger than Johnny’s muscles – his ego. This is, in fact, the main theme of the Johnny Bravo cartoon series – Johnny’s ego gets the main character into all sorts of adventures and problems. As stated on Wikipedia – It is popularly believed that Johnny’s name came from Greg Brady’s stage name from an episode of The Brady Bunch, and it is possible that creator Van Partible was influenced by this source. However, in an interview that aired on Cartoon Network prior to the debut of Johnny Bravo as an ongoing series, Partible stated that Johnny Bravo was a derivation of his full given name, Giovanni Bravissimo Partible.

Johnny often proves that he is his own biggest enemy, whether he is facing a mighty foe or in his attempt to look cool with the ladies. While he still lives with his mother, Bunny Bravo and has a nerdy friend (Carl) and an annoying next door neighbor (Little Suzie), Johnny is never out of inspiration when it comes to meeting and seducing the ladies.

Johnny Bravo – dressed in black with cool sunglasses, muscular and confident, with a blond hair that stands out from the crowd, you’d think Johnny Bravo is quite a ladies man. He thinks the same about him.. the only problem is that he is too confident in his own presence (by the way, he still lives with his mom). Johnny thinks he is the ultimate chick magnet and this often leads to all sorts of weird complications. Johnny Bravo’s pick up lines are priceless.

Bunny Bravo – Johnny’s mother is an energetic and enthusiastic woman, always ready to help her son out. However, each of her interventions lead to disastrous results. Bunny Bravo is the typical portray of a mom that wants only the best things for her son.

Little Suzie – the 8-year old next door neighbor has a little crush on Johnny Bravo. She seems to have the ability to pop up at the worst possible times for our Elvis-look-alike cartoon star.

Carl – a few years back, Johnny Bravo and Carl were best friends. They were both nerds, and Carl still is one today. Quite often, Carl manages to get the girl by simply speaking out the truth and showing his personality, a fact which drives Johnny Bravo the hunk completely crazy.

Pops – the owner of Pops Soda is a good friend of Johnny’s, always being there for him with advice and help.

The Johhny Bravo cartoon series proves that even grown up topics such as dating or certain ways of behaving can be adapted to a kid’s program.

History Of Horror Rap And The Gathering Of The Juggalos

The last eleven festivals all steeped in the underground rap aesthetic have seen everything from riots to helicopters, with performances by artists ranging from the proudly foul horror rap roster of Psychopathic Records to past chart toppers like Vanilla Ice and Ice Cube. The annual Gathering of the Juggalos horror rap music festival has inarguably carved out a unique spot for itself among music festivals around the globe, but its been a long and crazy ride.

Aptly described by Violent J as an annually recurring Juggalo Woodstock, the festival typically features music in the broad vein of underground rap and Rock, though the micro-genre of horror rap fills most of the bill. The horror rap festivals activities span beyond music as well, as it also features wrestling, autograph signings, seminars with the artists, wet T-Shirt contests, enormous bonfires, late night parties and more events catered to fans of underground rap.

Humble Beginnings for Horror Rap Festivalgoers

In 2000, the long-discussed concept of arranging an annual get together for all Horror rap and Juggalo wrestling enthusiasts came to fruition. A modest (by todays standards) 7,000 underground rap fans attended the very first Gathering of the Juggalos, but that doesnt mean it was a calm affair by any stretch of the imagination.

After 300 Juggalos responded to Insane Clown Posses request to join them on stage, the venues management was forced to intervene, ending the night prematurely. Such raucous behavior would become commonplace for all Gathering of the Juggalos horror rap music festivals to come, like in 2002 when so many fans rushed the stage that it neared collapse.

    Juggalo Horror Rap Standards

Its no secret that artists who fail to impress the collective horror rap enthusiasts and general Juggalo faithful will face repercussions that range from suffocating boos to physical harassment, but did you know this practice has its roots in 2003s lineup? Thats the year rapper non-underground rap artist Bubba Sparxxx was booed off stage in what was to be the first of many artist-Juggalo confrontations. Its said that the artist to receive the most boos every year is dubbed the Bubba Sparxxx award.

Gathering of the Juggalos Underground Rap Festival Growth

Throughout the mid 2000s, Gathering of the Juggalos and the publics penchant for Horror Rap and underground rap continued to expand, and eventually festival goers were greeted with a host of sideshows like seminars with the artists, Ms. Juggalette and wet T-shirt competitions, and wrestling schools (not to mention mud, oil, and flashlight wrestling matches hosted by Juggalo Championship Wrestling).

In that span of time, the horror rap and underground rap festival has exploded, with an estimated attendance of 20,000 at the 10th annual festival in 2009. This years festival promises to deliver good times for fans of underground rap once again.

    Business in Photography

Louis Daguerre of Paris, France can be said to be the Father of Commercial Photography. His daguerreotype of processing an image captured from then -advanced-technology- camera obscura was the pivotal development in the history of photography.

Although his first photograph with a human person in 1838 was an -accidental shot- which took more than 10 minutes of exposure in order for the image to be captured into his camera, it paved the way to the commercialization of photography. It created a demand for photographic portraiture in the middle classes which could not be sufficiently served by then current and expensive method of oil painting.

Commerce and industry opened its doors to photography. From its initial commercial visage of portraiture, photography evolved into other mercantile forms and vehicles, where it picked up payment for the -images- depicted rather than attach value to the photographs as -works of art-. Among the many forms and industry uses of photography, the following are mainstream applications:

Advertising photography that visually promotes products and services Fashion and glamour, usually employing models that enhance the products Crime scene photography as tools that offer clues and proofs to theories that help solve crimes and mysteries Still life photography depicting wonders that only photographs can convey Food photography, an area where food palatability is scrumptiously enhanced Editorial photography and photojournalism that successfully enhance and sensationalise news and stories Portrait and wedding photography that renders romanticism and sentimentality Landscape photography that serves to invigorate the tired soul Wildlife photography bringing realism to flora and fauna in their natural environments Paparazzi photography of freelance practitioners preying on usually -unsanctioned and unsolicited- personal photographs of celebrities, politicians, the prominent and wealthy that make juicy gossip items in prestigious publications

Aside from the top-class line of photography professions enumerated above, other businesses allied or related to photography have been an industry backbone that has contributed much to the economy of many countries, coming in different forms and modes:

Manufacture of equipment, accessories, consumables, parts and tools Sales and servicing of equipment, accessories and tools Photography and videography studios and services Image and photo printing and reproduction Printing media manufacture, sales and distribution Archiving and storage of document and photo images

There is also an opportunity area for photographs of national heritage import and/or phenomenal works of art such as 99 Cent II Diptychon, dubbed as -the most expensive photograph in the world- when it was auctioned for US$3.34 million at Sotheby’s on February 7, 2007.

Days Of Our Lives Actor Goes Green With Urth Solution

Days of Our Lives’ James Scott has recently joined the bandwagon of spokespersons for earth-friendly campaigns and organizations. The 28-year-old actor is actually a co-founder of Urth Solution, an organization aimed at helping developing countries capitalize on their natural resources without damaging the environment. He has been all around the world to communicate with these countries in behalf of Urth Solutions.

“I was thinking about doing something like this for a few years,” Scott said in a conversation with Soap Opera Digest. “It’s good to carry some sort of certification of being Green. I thought I’d try and find a company that would help communities in resource-rich areas to be able to harness those resources in a sustainable way then sell them for a premium to the West. It’s basically about helping communities help themselves. ‘Trade not aid.'”

James Scott, who plays EJ Wells on Days of Our Lives, was proud to say that Urth Solution was very well received, having been established a year ago.

The beaming actor said, “Urth Solution helps communities in developing countries find ways to address social, environmental and humanitarian issues.”

Scott recently flew to Bolivia to represent the company and help a community richly blessed with gold. Scott told Soap Opera Digest that they would like to teach the community how to extract the precious element without hurting the environment.

“We’re investing in a program to help the residents of that community mine the gold in an environmentally sustainable way, so that we can generate profits for the community,” James Scott explained.

Urth Solutions has also been to Madagascar, where they have a current project. They also plan to expand their outreach even further.

“I’m going to Mongolia in September,” Scott said to Soap Opera Digest. “I have been asked by World Bank to go and give a small presentation on my company, which they see as being a fairly good model for progressive businesses.”

Cinema Haven The video social network

Cinema Haven was created in 2009 to give users an option other than youtube and it’s time limits. Since then Cinema Haven evolved into first a video host, then a video indexer and most recently it sprouted it’s final beta stage where it now allows you to share videos from over 35 sources.

Some would ask why this is a big deal when there are so many other websites out there with already existing great content. Ask yourself this have you seen a video one day that you enjoyed and then six months later end up trying to find it again? Usually the answer to this is yes and for good measure. Now with Cinema Haven you can simply bookmark the video forever (until its is deleted from the original hosting website). So now instead of having to sign up for each individual site you can sign up for one and store your favorites where they are easily accessible. You are also sharing these videos with the other users of Cinema Haven. I think the best part of this feature is the ability to create your own playlist and take it with you wherever you want. Pretty useful if you ask me.me.

Cinema Haven boasts better hosting than youtube itself by accepting 9 different video format hosting from wmv, flv, to mp4 and even the infamously high definition divx format. Have an existing facebook account? Even better, you can login with it and skip the entire registration process.

This service is also great for companies looking to market their products to a smaller public than youtube which notoriously buries submissions within 2 minutes. The creator behind Cinema Haven plans to expand the service to mobile devices later this year to offer hosting of videos that often clutter our mobile devices and also to offer playback from over 70% of it’s hosted or indexed content. Folks when I say it gets no better than this I mean it. Check it out for yourselves.
